It can't be fifty years already!

It seems like only yesterday that we were together celebrating forty-five years since we graduated. It hardly seems like any time has passed. We have this golden reunion coming up and are excited to share the details with you.

FRIDAY - 9/13/24
Come tour the new fully renovated SHS, with two state-of-the-art buildings, connected with a Skywalk over King Street. We will meet at the school in the lobby on the King Street Campus side—245 King St at 2:15. We will need a headcount so the Administration can coordinate enough tour guides for our group. Also, if you need to use the elevators, please let us know so we can have them available for us. You must RSVP for the tour to Theresa Maraglino by 9/1/24. Please reach out to her by email, or on our “Class Reunion Stratford High School Class of 74” Facebook page!”

Around 4 pm we will head over to Riverview Bistro at 946 Ferry Blvd. for a very casual meet-up in the bar area. Can’t make the tour or Saturday’s event? No Problem…you’re still welcome to stop by to reconnect with your classmates. Cash bar and feel free to order a bite if you want.

It's just a stone's throw from Bonds Dock behind where the Shakespeare Theatre once stood. It sits on the beautiful Housatonic River so there will be a nice water view!

We will have a catered event by VAZZY'S Restaurant of Stratford, and the word is there will be live music! Get your requests ready for your favorite songs! IMPORTANT NOTE: Since this is a “Private Club” we cannot sell alcohol so it will be BYOB! So bring your favorite beverage! Ice, water and Soda will also be provided.

Just a reminder this is the official website portal to everything reunion related. We have received reports of a couple of people being scammed by people representing themselves as the reunion committee. You may receive emails and messages from other sites trying to sell you 50-year apparel or other swag. That's not us, and PLEASE don't buy tickets to our event from anywhere other than the link on this site! Keep in mind this website is a work-in-progress. So check in as often as you like as things may change in between your visits to this site. If you have pictures from our school years, or some you took at a past reunion, please send them along to add to our gallery. Please add a caption so we know what and who we're looking at. After 50 years, many of us don't have the greatest memory of the 70's and most of us don't look like we did in 1974!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST...WE NEED YOUR HELP LOCATING ALUMNI! THIS IS THE WAY TO REACH AS MANY ALUMNI AS WE CAN. If you are on social media we have a Facebook page: CLASS REUNION STRATFORD HIGH CLASS OF 1974. It is a Public Group so anyone can comment or view. We will be sending blasts out on that Facebook page with updates and ask that you share the information on your own FB page.

Please reach out to any Classmates you may be in contact with and spread the word. Remember to pass the word to your classmates that are not on social media. In the meantime, if you haven't already added your name, email and some pertinent contact information please do so now on this website. Please encourage others to add their names even if they are unable to attend. It's been 50 years and a lot has changed since 1974! The digital world is here to stay and emails and social media is our avenue to locate our classmates! Again, we need YOUR help locating them. It will help make this event more successful and to keep everyone in the loop of any future events we may have.
